Welcome!
My name is Henrietta Magyar, I am a life and business coach, and a communication professional.
I have been working at multinational companies for almost 20 years and have been managing both smaller and larger teams for almost 15 years. I have always cared about the well-being and development of those around me. I consider myself lucky to have worked with managers who showed me how liberating and inspiring it can be to take care of my own development and feel responsible for it. I felt safe enough to find and voice my opinions, which were listened to and taken into account. These values were of particular importance to me as a leader as well – I have used them as a basis when organising and managing my team. However, I had to learn a lot – mainly about myself – to be able get to this point.
The desire to get to know myself and have a self-identity has been a part of my life for a long time. It was not always a conscious process – sometimes I just knew that a certain environment made me feel good. So that was how I got connected to my feelings at first. Later on, mindfulness, meditation, astrology and other methods assisted me in getting even closer to myself.

If you manage to find your own way and be true to your real self day by day, you will be able to lead a happier, more harmonious and more successful life. I do think that everyone is capable of finding their own inner resources and tools with which they can reach their goals and tackle their challenges.
I do believe that relying on the tools of coaching and my own experiences I can effectively support my clients in discovering and achieving their own goals, learning to set or – on the contrary – push their boundaries, understanding their own reactions and those of the outside world, removing impediments and finding their own inner resources and motivations.
The methodologies I use during the coaching process
In the course of the coaching process I primarily rely on the methods offered by Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Solution-focused coaching. I combine these approaches and add my own experiences as well, enabling my clients to look at their lives from a variety of perspectives and to find their own solutions. My blog offers a deeper insight into these methodologies and how I have personally experienced them.
The coaching process I provide my clients with is in line with the codes of ethics offered by international coaching organisations (European Mentoring and Coaching Council – EMCC, International Coach Federation – ICF).

My hobbies
Being in nature always recharges me. I go running or hiking, practise yoga, or just simply immerse in the energies of the great outdoors. I started taking photos a couple of years ago, and this hobby has taught me to examine things from various perspectives, and to look for unique, outstanding traits. I have been dancing for decades (right now I dance the tango) and I keep on learning about myself from my experiences – whether it’s a dance move or an asana.
