The coaching process may cover areas of either one’s personal or professional life – and accordingly, I offer both life and business coaching to my clients.

Life coaching

This coaching process will enable you not only to find the solution for a specific problem or situation, but in the course of the sessions you can also discover and acquire the skills and abilities that may improve your quality of life in the long term, empowering you to tackle future challenges in an effective and responsible manner.

There are several topics we may deal with during the life coaching sessions, such as:
● communication difficulties
● setting healthy boundaries
● managing change
● balancing the roles of your life
● improving the quality of your relationships
● self-confidence and self-love
● setting and achieving objectives

The first step of the process is a preliminary meeting with the client, which takes about 30-40 minutes. At this meeting we talk about the opportunities coaching sessions can provide, discuss the objectives, expectations and possible doubts, and agree on some practical issues. If after this meeting we both think we could work together productively, we can start our collaboration with a focus on development.

There are no strict rules concerning the number, frequency and length of sessions required to achieve the desired objective. A process is usually made up of 5–8 sessions. There are clients who feel they need coaching support on a weekly basis, while others prefer to have sessions every two weeks and rather wish to practice and apply the skills and abilities discovered during our conversations in the meantime. In the course of the process I apply various methodologies, such as Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Solution-focused coaching, choosing the ones that best fit your personality, your life situation and the issue to be addressed. I combine these approaches and add my own experiences and insights as well, enabling you to look at your life from a variety of perspectives and to find your own solutions.

Once the defined objective is achieved, we close the process, summarise the results, look at the lessons learned, and the experiences gained.

If you feel that you would like to work with me and to be more effective in addressing a problem or situation you are facing, please feel free to get in touch.

Business coaching

This type of coaching is a professional development process focusing on the improvement of one’s professional performance. Business coaching may be provided to senior managers, middle managers and employees as well.

It is a process that can be used to meet a broad range of business-related objectives, including:
● to improve leadership competencies (delegation, feedback, motivation)
● to support the process of becoming a leader
● to improve time management
● to establish a balance between private and professional life
● to improve the skills of assertive communication and conflict management

The process starts with a preliminary meeting. If a business wishes to make use of such coaching services, the first step is a tripartite meeting between the coach, the client and the company’s HR professional. In the framework of such a preliminary discussion we clarify the objectives and the expectations the company and the client may have; I present the opportunities offered by the coaching process and we agree on some practical issues. I find it extremely important in the case of business services as well to highlight the importance of confidentiality. If after the meeting all of the parties feel that we would be able to cooperate in a productive manner, we can start the coaching process itself.

The sessions generally last for 60-90 minutes, and the whole process is made up of 5-8 sessions. There are clients who feel they need coaching support on a weekly basis, while others prefer to have sessions every two weeks and rather wish to practice and apply the skills and abilities discovered during our conversations in the meantime. I mainly apply the toolkit of Business Coaching in the course of the process to provide support to my clients, however, depending on the personality of the client and the specific issue to be addressed, I may adopt other methodologies as well, such as Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Solution-focused coaching.

Once the defined objective is achieved, we close the process, summarise the results, look at the lessons learned, and the experiences gained.

If you feel that you would like to work with me and find a solution to your professional challenges or address a specific situation you are facing, please feel free to get in touch.

The coaching process I provide my clients with is in line with the codes of ethics offered by international coaching organisations (European Mentoring and Coaching Council – EMCC, International Coach Federation – ICF).
